Job OverviewA key element of the new AgReliant Genetics research strategy is realigning our testing and operations teams to better incorporate the technologies and processes that will significantly grow our germplasm performance. We have an excellent opportunity for a talented, field-focused candidate to join our AgReliant Genetics team as a Site Lead. Responsibilities
In this role you will lead a team that is responsible for all aspects of our operational activities at inbred and hybrid research sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for station management at the assigned location. You must possess exceptional drive and ability to champion the new and innovative field processes that incorporate cutting edge technologies. You must be skilled, experienced and excited to drive process and people changes. This role is key to championing a culture of people development to grow skills, experience, and ability within the team for larger roles in the Research organization.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:o Lead & support the AgReliant Genetics teams at your siteo Hire, motivate, train, and lead seasonal employees to meet job responsibilitieso Responsible for all preventative maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure the facility is operating in a safe and efficient mannero Identify & drive strategic opportunities that improve efficiency and operational results of teamo Develop and implement Benchmarking strategies to track improvement of the key deliverableso Instill and grow a robust team focus among the site Research Associateso Champion the AgReliant Genetics Mission, Vision, Values at assigned siteo Manage operational and capital budgets relevant to your team and site
Qualifications
o B.S. & 5 years' experience working within field-focused research programso Outstanding agronomic skills required; professional agronomy credentials preferredo Excellent communication and influencing skills to win stakeholder support of team strategieso Experience with driving significant organization and process changeso Experience with leading, managing, and hiring full-time and seasonal employeeso Experience with data software tools (Excel, Word)o Ability to work required hours; ability to lift 25 lbs.; must have valid driver's license and meet MVR guidelines

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
